No the Internet!

I was on the illegal file sharing website piratebay.org, and I noticed that, on their homepage, was a link about this SOPA business. For those of you that don't know, SOPA is the American 'Stop Online Piracy Act,' which will give the USA all sorts of crazy abilities, like the option to use a tactical nuclear strike against a 13 year old boy in Sussex who has downloaded a pirated copy of Coldplay's latest single, should such a situation arise. Obviously that's an exaggeration, but it is quite a mad piece of legislation that would be very Orwellian and, just not cool daddy-o. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act)

HOWEVER!

On my same visit to the piratebay, I also noticed an advert for Thai Brides, which means that the websites opinion seems to be:

"Hey man, no one should be able to like, you know, own stuff like movies and music, it should just be like, totally everyone's property dude. But, while you digest that, how would you like to buy and own and actual, adult human being who you can bend to all your domestic and sexual needs?"

Which made me think:

"Oh why don't you just fuck off, the internet."

Truly abhorrent hypocrisy of a calibre so stupid it makes Dirty Harry's cannon look like a busted pea shooter!
